I was so excited to meet Michelle and Jean, they are truly one of the sweetest couples! For their baby shower, friends had purchased a gift certificate for their newborn session, and I was thrilled when Michelle contacted me to do a maternity session a few weeks before her due date. Their story is so very touching as they tried for a long time to get pregnant, and then when they came to terms with the possibility of never being able to have a child, God completely surprised them and blessed them with a little girl growing inside 🙂  She is truly a miracle and words can’t express how excited I am for them, and I feel so honored to capture this amazing time in their lives!  {Apparently she couldn’t wait to meet them because she arrived weeks early, just one week after we did Michelle’s maternity session! So happy to hear that all is well and they are now home, and I’m glad we were able to capture these of her pregnant! I waited a bit to post until they got settled at home to ensure they could take the time to enjoy their images. Can’t wait to meet little Élodie!}

I really love the name they chose… Élodie… it’s a French name after Jean with him being French and I just love it!!! Gotta admit I was a little excited to be one of the only ones to knew her name 🙂
